@Upsy Daisy Your alliteration always makes me laugh. How's the hospital appointment going? Hope everything is all right. Lovely morning, not too hot. The fresh air is so welcoming.

@alp, a bit downhearted about it all really .

The really important one that I was told I would hear about on Monday, has not happened!
My shoulder/ neck one ( which is really depressing me as it is so painful day and night) has come through for the end of August! This has been ongoing for months now ,had injections into it ,had all the physiotherapy so it's not a new problem, why the long gap between treatment I really don't understand .....that's summer ruined!

The 3rd app for the clot has come through , that's in a couple of weeks time.

Feeling really low at the moment, can't seem to snap out of it.

Trouble is that other people can't see or feel your pain, and after a while they forget about it and expect you to carry on as normal!!!

I feel so bad feeling like this as our news is full of people experiencing way more serious worries.

@Upsy Daisy So sorry to hear about your pain. Yesterday, I had to fold my knee and that pain was sharp. Is there any way to relieve the pain? Menthol patch? Anything external to ease it? I know you're anti-chemicals, but when the crunch time comes, it's no point putting up with it when something can help.

I have detected your quiet since yesterday; amongst friends, you don't have to pretend. Going out to the garden could be a tonic .. Or go out for a meal or Ikea for tea.. If you feel the pain, go to your doctor to see if they can speed up the appointment. Everybody's on holiday in the summer. That's the trouble.

Tend to use my Tens machine when I feel really bad, does ease it a bit .

The next free app with my Dr is on the 21st July ,had thought about asking for sleeping pills as a good night's sleep may help me feel a bit better...not really keen though and it still would mean wating another month to get them a anyway...so might as well not bother.

Yes , haven't really felt like posting, also not much for me to say either. However I do look in to see what you are all up to (y):)

You don't need to post if you don't feel like it. It's just a forum, not a job! Try some lazy yoga like relax every bit of your body and take deep breaths, hold and exhale - this will really help provide the air is clean.

Afternoon all.
@Upsy Daisy How are you this afternoon?
Just got back from the physio, adjusted the brace to 60deg. Said i was doing well, got more exercises to do, as well as the others. Told her about the aching across the knee when i bend it. Said it's the muscles complaining, but got to keep pushing it.

Morning to all who drops by - very warm already and no breeze this morning. Only got 1 butt of water left now. Soon I will have to use metered water and no rain in sight for 2 weeks.

@alp how's your knees this morning?
Yes we have to use metered water for the garden. But we still save money having one, because there's just the 2 of us. The towels that i use for the boys, i don't wash them too much. Only when their very dirty.

My knees are nothing compared to @Upsy Daisy various pains. It plays up a bit when I get up from a chair or when I walk. Need to take all the tablets when I go on holidays. Don't want to spoil my son's first holiday of the year!
