Currently, my roses are dormant, so I left them in my parents' attic. I'll bring them here in spring, when they start growing again. I miss them so very much!!
Tulip bulbs sound like a lovely idea. Is there any chance they'll bloom indoors?
Will they bloom in winter? Or should I wait until spring? My apartment is very warm, but kind of shady.
Both those pictures look really lovely. Now, I dream about having a glass vase full of tulips Thank you for the inspiration.
I'll give it a try As soon as I clean up my livingroom, I'll start looking for plants. I think I'll buy two orchids and a few tulip bulbs. They'll look beautiful here! You're welcome! The ones in the picture have bloomed in water so I would say yes. I've not done it successfully, so I have no tips. I managed to get the bulbs to sprout again, but the plants didn't grow and the bulbs all dried up. I know a bit more about them now, but it's still a matter of giving them the right conditions.
The more space for plants, the better! That would be beautiful, @claudine. I'm in the process of clearing out and rearranging everything. Once I'm done I hope to have created a lot more space and I look forward to creating some spaces for indoor plants.
Back to the original topic - when you dip the orange peels in chocolate, do you boil them first? Do you use and special type of chocolate?
