I am back it gone dark now my back aching , planted nearly all the tulips but for 15 , lots of daffodils planted, they all gone in pots around the house I'll continue planting them all week but most pf the pots are done but for adds voila's / wallflowers / forget me nots / pansy etc.

Getting on a bit now hence why my back aching :rolleyes: I am 28 but look younger I got ID in the bookies a few weeks ago.

I be careful taking less than the valuation, it costs a lot just to move with removal company's and fee's on the sale and I think you pay stamp duty on buying a house over a certain price.

Yes, as I am not a first time buyer, the stinker would be more than £6000 plus!:inpain::inpain::inpain:!

Me too :D

Not many people my age are interested in plants etc that why I am on gardening forums to speak to like minded people (y)

That's really a horrible bug! Full of protein. Fancy that guy eating a slug and died after years of being comatosed. Make sure you wash your hands.

I weeded my border and deadheaded the Easter Star. I might have to dig up the cannas as the leaves are blackened by frost. I think I will just leave my dahlias for the time being as we might have a few days of warmth in the south. I so want to see if I can collect seeds.

Good morning to a glorious day!

:poop::poop::poop:

12c is not to be sneezed at though. Count my blessings.

Well, at least, it's mild. Had an offer yesterday - a silly price. Last time I tried to sell my house, people from the same region came to view and thought the price included 2 houses, mine and my neighbour!:eek::banghead::inpain:! Another offered me £10k below asking price once he heard we might be going to Birmingham! :banghead::inpain:

@alp I am hopeless at visualising sizes but I like the 2nd one and to me I personally don't think that the lounge looks small.

It is such a stressful event all round ,this house moving:banghead:

For what it's worth post any houses that you feel you might like another opinion on.....we'll all help I'm sure!:)(y)

Well I planted out all my tulips( if that's what they were ...all my bulbs ended up mixed up and in one bag!!), just have some small one to plant now( completely forgotten what they are!!) Nice to have surprises!:LOL::ROFLMAO:
Will go and plant them out this morning as we are visiting friends this afternoon:)(y)

Son flies home today , I will be pleased when he's home but then on the other hand worry about him and our other two living in London....5 murders in one week!!!What are we humans evolving into:(

On that sad note......have a good day!(y)

I have had no notification this time! LOL!

London is really rough. Remember a lecturer walking through a park and got stabbed beginning of his new career - totally unprovoked. Hope Brexit finishes soon and politicians stay focused. Lawlessness prevails and the mayor trying to score points and says it will take a generation to restore order.

I have no bulbs to plant. In fact, didn't go plant shopping Sunday or Saturday because of viewing. Today, I have to let go of all the water as tomorrow should be a day of deluge! Off to the post office now.

I'm tired thinking of you planting these beauties! I am usually extremely excited when I buy the stuff and when I am home, I want to cry :banghead::banghead::inpain::inpain:! There simply isn't any room and if I break new ground at the back, there will be one more messy area. Actually, how old are you, @Perki ! Do be honest with us! I do have some area at the back. But I had to have a rockery to hide all the rubbles although that is the sunniest spot as well. So glad I didn't buy any bulbs this year apart from about 20 of them. When they are reduced, I will buy some if I have moved. I have a silly offer today and it sounds like an insult. The couple is keen on gardening. When the man saw my line of 6 water butts lining the side of the house, he said in a very heartfelt way, "Good idea, good idea!":D:D:D

Because they like my house, they are trying to sell the house via the same agent! Any way, it's not going to happen at that price.

Been out weeding and talked to my elderly neighbour 2nd time in 2 months. Hardy seen him. Old age is a prison and it's waiting for us!

Thank you for the good advice and that's why I'm going to see a chalet type of house, no upstairs. Went to see this lady's house and she 85 and wanted to move to Frinton on sea. His son lived right opposite her. If I were the son, I would rather she slept downstairs and be close to me. There is probably the toilet as well. I like everything about the house, but it's too small and the garden about 23 feet by 50. I surely have been spoilt. When we viewed the house, I said to son, "You know how lucky you have been!" He has a 13 feet by 11 feet room to himself, which is nearly someone's lounge size!

Would you lot have a look here and give advice please?
2nd one Really liked this one until I saw the size of the lounge!
3rd one

What do you think?
Morning agree with Upsy second one ,the first one the energy rating is so low would cost a fortune to heat and not a lot for your money .

Share your pain @Zenj .11 yrs ago our eldest when around the world by himself for a year. He was 22 and had just finished Uni ...and went. I know it was a fabulous experience for him...but not for us. Worse year of our lives....seriously. Now our younger one goes away a lot, sometimes with friends but mostly he prefers to travel alone because he enjoys street and travel photography and can go were he wants more easily if he's alone.......another nighmare. :cry: Thankfully our middle son only goes on summer hols with his girlfriend. Just not keen on where they all live really although middle son lives just outside of London.
Our ' boys' are now 33, 30 and 29 but will forever be our babies!!
What are we like!!:LOL::ROFLMAO:

For some reason, we can't get to view the 2nd one. Must have been sold already!
