Happy New Year to all! We have already had ours for 5 hours 18 minutes!

Going to be cold tonight. Another grey day

But dry. I have moved most of my cuttings and delicate plants to the plastic greenhouse as there is too much moisture in the lean to. Hopefully, the place will be dehumidified. Thank heavens I can breathe here.

And what do you eat on New Years day? We eat black eyed peas for luck.

Can't speak for the Brits. We don't celebrate New Year. Chinese New Year is like your thanksgiving and we have sort of a feast. My mum would have a chicken, fried oysters, fish which sounds like surplus(so it's more than enough and good) and we would go to buy a peach tree with blossoms, a citrus tree with red fruit, probably a clementine or satuma as the colour red symbolises good fortune. Sometimes, we would buy daffodils or narcissus in a pot. It's like a big family reunion!

That is our first Turkey day.

Feel sorry for you! Turkey is so bland .. Love lamb, beef, chicken, duck, fish .. Turkey doesn't not come close.

We could never get that skin as it needs to be fanned for hours to be that dry.

This year's most anticipated dish

Suckling pig. Don't want people to be grossed out! But I will have these two for my birthday this year!

Aw... Must be the grandkids' influence! Well, at least, it makes me smile! Getting a bit depressed.

Moved most of the houseplants into the mini plastic greenhouse. I can already visualise myself taking them out later and discarding them because they have died. Cleaned a corner of the lean to and removed all the candle wax. Ex gifted me a lot of candles for my lean to. Will only use it when it's cold. This afternoon, sunshine was glorious and went out to take some photos again. It's always like this - took photos but too dark, then the sun teased me, went out to take them again. Then sunshine dazzled me and I wanted to take them again.

These snowdrops could be Pleno flore just double or Desdemona or/??

Forgot my first favorite single white with dashed lines

See the two below please - they are very similar - but one has a deeper pink and green colour and I like this more than the white one.

Love the green and the intense dashed pattern.
