I did some housework yesterday that was enough.;)
Pricked out the snapdragon seedlings into small cell trays. They're old trays that I patch up every year with another cell.

Think some of the wallflowers have gone. They don't look the same as before.:cry:
I haven't pulled them up just in case they might recover, but i don't think so.

Yes. I read that twice and quoted it somewhere. When exactly is Easter weekend. They said it would be another Beast Version III during Easter Weekend. I am soooooo fed up.

Having said that, today has been wonderful, gorgeous and glorious. I finally removed all the seeds from the kitchen worktop. I just can't bear throwing away seeds and hence they are everywhere. I have 4 echinacea purpurea seed heads and now they are in the bin dish. I just can't bear throwing them away.

Wow, what an incredible shot! I used to visit Durdle Door fairly often when I lived in Dorset, never seen it covered in snow before though!!

I saw in the textbook when I studied geography in secondary school. We specially went there just for me to stare at the hole! LOL! Along the way, there were gunfires - quite frightening because of military exercise! But a lovely place!

In my opinion I don't think cleome seeds have a long life span, I am having the same problem. Germination last year from new/fresh seeds was relatively easy but this year I had no show from my first sowing ( 2nd sowing today ). I am going to put the 1st sowing in the fridge.

The 5th hellibore from the top is a beauty Alp do you know the name?

You mean the white one with a bit of spots. Not a clue. It was bought from a tray in a landscape comme gardening centre where they labelled EG Woodhouse wrongly. No names on any of them. I have chosen the best three. I think I can ask @Logan to name it for you! She loves doing that! LOL!

I think cleome seeds need a bit more heat to generate. What does the instruction say? Funny thing is that back home, we had hot and humid weather. Every time before it rained, my sister and I just broadcast them on the top and the rain would help them germinate and cover the ground. It was that easy!

On my 2nd sowing too @Perki . I know that they can take as long as 3mths to germinate. They need warmth during the day and a significant drop in temperature during the night. I have placed the 1st sowing out in the greenhouse now, gets pretty warm in there when the sun is out and I have left them on the staging rather than place them inside the insulated section.......hopefully they will get chilly at night(y)....We shall see.
