zenji - That's not bad for the NE. We still had a bit on the raised bed and shaded area. But today, we all seem to have in for a BETTER day! Long live heat wave! LOL!

Sorry about your seedlings, when I'm sowing them only lightly water the compost, let it dry out a bit and put a bit more water on. Did you sow them too thickly? Did you have to sow them on the surface? I do that with tiny seed and put some vermiculite on top that gives them some support when they come up. Snapdragons fall over and that works. That hellebore must be a seedling unless you forgot about it. Wallflowers were drooping again with this snow. Hubby was out this morning watering them, being without water that what makes them droop when the ground is frozen. I bet the neaghbours wondered why he was doing it.

They are probably too cold in this room. When the radiators heat up, it can be very hot. They are the Brachycombe seeds. Thank heavens I don't put too much in. Some I have lost the label again.

Guess what, the Beast from the East is coming back for a 3rd time

'Beast from the East' coming back for THIRD time as forecasters warn of a 'White Easter'!

What a drag! I absolutely hate it. Went out and the sun disappeared again. Still ice on some pots. Saw some camellias flowering. Hopefully, some camassias are going to flower!

When I looked at the weather map, I want to cry for you, Logan and zenji ... Such awful weather. Even Ireland has better weather than you two.

Oh i see. Good that you didn't sow them all.Yes the weather app says that we're going to get a 3rd one. Hubby said that it will finnish everything in the garden because the leaves will be out.

Well, they will have some resilience, but certainly not good. I am going to check my feeders. Would love to see one with apricot undercoat, like that nuthatch from @johnny canoe ! Funny thing was that I clicked the video and was chuffed when Mr Woodpecker looked at me occasionally. And I clicked the left arrow and saw the nuthatch and was thrilled. I clicked forward and saw the bull or bison and yet I couldn't see the lovely bird any more on the flr site. Now it's here in full glory! Just love birds!

Decided I would sow some more seeds ( cosmos - cleome - black pansy - anagallis - melons again - primula auricula ) while the GH was warm , to warm for me.

I was going to call that a do for today but got a bit carried away when I walked past the pyracantha, need training / pruning so got that done. While I had the secateurs in my hand I walked past the climbing paul scarlett rose which I then had the urge to prune, cause I've done one might as well do the other 4 roses  :D.
