Hello back to snow again it seems  it bloody freezing out there. It been snowing on and off all day but not sticking,I thought I had got away from any meaningful snow fall today but its been blizzard conditions again this evening 3-4 inch of drifting snow so far. Spring seems so far away :( normally have all the daffodils flowering around the beginning of March but they look at least 2 -3 weeks away.

Playing with the camera in the GH I bought a month ago, takes better pictures than my last camera :) took some pictures of some Iris ret , I got a mix pack cause I couldn't make my mind up, hopeful I will have some more different colours when they all open up.

The flying Scotsman ( train ) was in town last weekend, want down and tested the camera on that as well :)

Oh, yes! Someone has got a new camera! And show up all the glories close up! Bet you must be chuffed with your new toy, Perki!

Would love to see a photo of your flying Scotman!

Good morning to all - it's not snowing, but the snow overnight hasn't melted, which means the air is still cold. Not so horrible as last time. But it doesn't do my plants any good.

@alp ...right place now!

I really don't mind what they end up like to be honest......all flowers are beautiful. My light green ones are nothing compared to yours, but I love them all equally.
I can hardly go into her garden and dig up one of her gorgeous pink ones now can I? :D:ROFLMAO: No I will look around for some tiny seedlings and pot them on for a year.
That will do me fine (y)

According to the weather report, it's going to clear up in the afternoon. Need to go out to get some cold fresh air. Will go with my red duvet. LOL!

I helped my elderly deaf neighbour to switch energy supplier and instead of £60, he paid £20. I don't know about now as his children are taking care of it. I asked him for a hellebore. He used to be a gardener in a school. Any way, I got one and he said, "Wow, this much!" Only one plant. And now his whole garden is being suffocated with weeds and I can't even see his hellebores. He used to have loads. I think they are still there, but being covered by green grass and what not. Shame! Another sad thing is that I haven't even seen him out of his house! Old age for some. The loss of a beloved spouse can be so traumatic for some..

Yes, Upsy, just stick to one or two seedlings (Make sure you get it from a big patch. That way, you help thin the patch and end up doing her a favour!

Saw the burnished red stems of the Cornus. They are so pretty. Shame I don't have a big garden! A dark pisttoproum, some red stem cornus, some light green euphorbias do look very nice, as can be seen in GW's Bodnant Gardens.

THAT WHITE HEATHER IS GORGEOUS!

Yes definitely...on all counts!
Yes you need your duvet
Yes old age and losing your soul mate.....well let's not think of that!
Yes I will just nab a couple of seedlings....don't want to appear too greedy....might have other plants worth pinching!:D:ROFLMAO:(y),
Yes Fondant was inspiring!

See 'sister's ' can agree:D:ROFLMAO:(y)
