Funny thing is that Viburnum plicatum Mariesii - Wedding Cake Tree is the one that I like

It's more like a shrub than a tree.So it would be alright for your garden.

I bough another bug hotel for $12 today.

That's so nice. It reminds me of the girl who suffered from fatigue and her mum asked Monty to design a garden for her and her sister. She was ever so articulate and asked for bee hotels and herbs. The end results are tons of these. It was so touching to see a haven for bees and bugs. We would love to see a photo of your bug hotel and its habitants, Johnny!

I will follow that as I am none the wiser.

Bought a Thuja occidentalis 'Smaragd' for a tenner. A spiral tree. I'm so glad that I didn't buy the leylandii spiral.

Also a EG Waterhouse with a flower for £5.99. A Miracot 'Aprimira by Ken Muir for another £10. It had to be trimmed to get into the car.

I wonder if the one I already have is that same.

3 AGM strawberry for 50p Hapil, Alice, ? and An AGM standard rose Arthur Bell for another tenner. Very happy. Finally, a yellow rose.

Shall we mess about and give them proper names? It's impossible to name them. A tiny difference. Yours are actually quite good. But Harvington name something in between black and slate and Shade of night.. Shall we do that? LOL! I love the idea!

For example: Maroon bloody splatter?

2) maroon speckled white canvas/tableau?

Here are some beauties I snapped today. They are not mine

I think I used to have this one. Very pretty double. Now I might have a baby coming up with two starter leaves.

This is what 100% looks like. Don't feel dejected.

I think I have this beauty, but the slugs have ravaged its visage.

I have one similar, but not such a big patch of maroon.
