Good morning to each and everyone. :)
Hope you are all well this morning.(y)
We too must have had a drop of rain during the night as the ground looks damp:happy:
If it remains a damp squid of a day then I will begin sealing up my saved seeds. I have them drying out in containers all around the house and in the greenhouse too.
And I have to admit..........I know, I know ,will I ever learn!!!!!.:banghead:......that there are a few containers that have lost their labels!!!

But first we have an appointment to attend this morning. Will tackle the unidentifiable seed problem when I return home :)(y)

Have a great day and may all of us that need rain get a good old soaking today!:D

Same here. I potted some peonies and some hellebores (hand pollinated and doubles) up and of course, I couldn't find the permanent marker (2 of them) and now the pots are nowhere to be seen and so are the markers! :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Logan - Your hubs might want to do this too!:banghead::banghead::banghead: with an unruly dog! Glad that you have your Christmas stuff ready! Imagine waking up to this frustration.

My bamboo, saved by the washing line! Tied it up with its siblings and got drenched! So much water in that sinewy branch! Glad that it could be salvaged though! :D

Just sorted out the Home insurance and son took snap of Salvia uglinosa for me!

@Zenj I wanted to click the Like many, many times!!

Can't believe it is in Whitley Bay! Thought it was in Spain!:LOL::LOL::LOL:

Going to ask son to view these photos on the new LG this evening - the photos looks professionally shot. When we go to Newcastle, we will visit this place! And sample the fish there. Better start saving!:LOL:

PS: have had a look at the menu already! Reasonable! Not £3 for a hot chocolate. Next time I will go out with a hot water flask and a packet of hot chocolate powder!:eek::LOL:

Afternoon all, we have light intermittent rain today, but the resulting amount is hardly anything at all!! :(

Now at my Dad's, attempting more sorting and clearing out. The main problem is finding things he forgot he had then reminiscing over the ' stories ' that go with them!!:ROFLMAO: For example a photo reminding him that tomorrow was was the day he took his first solo flight.......71 years ago. Love having this time with him to learn more about the man that is my Dad......at 93 these days are rapidly becoming more precious to me.:)(y)

P.S.....my Dad that is....not me ( 93!!:LOL::ROFLMAO:)

@alp cannot take credit for photos Whitley bay forum post on FB

Thank you for sharing - and I will mark it down for possible destination. I haven't been to Newcastle. Yorkshire, Margate, Liverpool, Anglesy, Penrith in Cumbria, Land's End I have been to. Delightful place. Hope I can catch it on a sunny day, as shown on the photos!

Thanks for the reminder! As my memory is getting bad.. the reminder does help!:ROFLMAO:

Was your dad some kind of pilot?

We haven't had any intermittent rain at all. Just stopped at about 9am and even that was insignificant. Fancy me getting up 6am and transferring rain water from butts to tubs and pots!:eek: Like to remove the £1m bonus to this useless lot. No wonder they kept promoting Carol Kirkwood and now Tomas Schafenarker!

Got rid of tons of useless paper - The excessive amount of letter contents is just like a constant battle. Now, one of my armchairs can be sat on.

Mambo - I kept getting this delivered before I have my Blue Bayou

Please don't let me see light purple as I will buy that as well. I'm a sucker!

This is the only Salvia of which I have not taken cuttings. I must say it has a beautiful blue, but the flowers are so small!

My son took photos of these tiny flowers - didn't know how he managed it. But obviously, he could hold the camera very still!

Hello, Johnny: you and your cat have sneaked in! Lovely flowers. If I see sweet peas going for 10p a packet of seeds, I will buy them. Lovely dahlias .

Is it your cat, or someone else's? I thought you said it was someone else's. I also have one such and two others at the back.

@alp ....didn't want people to get the wrong idea of my sprightly young age !!!:ROFLMAO::LOL:.

RAF pilot, trained during the war. Luckily because he was in training he didn't take part in active combat.:)(y)

Despite wet droplets falling from the sky it barely dampened the ground :(

My Dad now has a sofa that can be sat on !! Even came home with his rubbish as his recyclable bin was full!!!

Great pics alp..:)...your son has something I definitely need, a very steady hand! (y)
