That Fuschsia of yours is an absolute stunner @alp , it certainly makes an OK day into a brilliant day when you find a surprise bloom amongst your borders

Actually we saw a couple of trailers on forthcoming films that we thought looked good So I've signed my sis up as well so she can get £3:99 tickets too! We plan to see a movie once a month......and I will definitely stick to this plan!!

I know, the long range forecast is predicted to be of above average temperatures up until Christmas. That will mess up things in next year's gardens!

I always watch the weather forecast videos and read weather reports. Just can't believe everything. They did say it's going to be warm for a long time.

Good morning to all - Not too cold and not very bright. Seems to be the theme of the week - cloudy all round .. Hopefully, there will be useful rain tomorrow. The garden is still very dry. Need to water my minute Toms.

Will see what other cuttings I can take and see if we can fashion a cold frame as I have a 2.3m long polycarbonate panel.

• Florence rapidly intensified into a fearsome category 4 hurricane early Monday
• Forecasts warn Hurricane Florence could strike a direct and dangerous blow anywhere from the Carolinas to the Mid-Atlantic region later this week
• By 5pm on Monday, Florence was centered about 1,170 miles east-southeast of Cape Fear, North Carolina
• It is predicted to approach the coast of South or North Carolina on Thursday
• North and South Carolina, Virginia and Maryland have declared states of emergency ahead of the storm
• North Carolina officials on Monday ordered mandatory evacuations for the state's Outer Banks barrier islands
• South Carolina ordered the state's entire coastline, which includes an estimated one million residents, to be evacuated starting at noon on Tuesday
• One person drowned on Sunday and two others were injured in dangerous surf conditions off Daytona Beach in Florida churned by Hurricane Florence

Morning!
Grey and cloudy here with a bit of a breeze blowing but it is trying it's best to brighten up.
Hopefully I will have the whole day in the garden and greenhouse today as it's the only day this week we have the day free from commitments.

Gooooood morning, @Upsy Daisy !

I reckon this is a great day for gardening. - I'm going to weed the front and plant out those loney pots (roses, clematises, peony - yellow ones and what not left in there are clearing the side stripe.

I think you will have loads of rain tomorrow! Very happy at the prospect!
