@Upsy Daisy don't be ashamed of not washing your curtains. I haven't done mine for a few years.
The dining room patio doors are 10ft long and the curtains 90inc long and width each, also lined. They're very heavy when dry and hard to get back up, even with help from hubby. But it's too late now this year, it will have to wait until next, if i remember.
@alp sorry about your eyes. Do you have them checked every so often? They can do a lot more now.
Me too @alp ...M3!!!!.....sadly only a once a year job though......how dirty am I!!!!!
Thanks for offer I have an accountant who does most of my accounting it’s more time management and getting the most money as poss for the least amount of work I’m half way between taking two chefs on on a self employed basis so I will place them in work at £12 an hour and charge client £16 an hour just there’s more to it than that pli & ni just trying to figure out my best options basically I want to be earning £25 an hour for 10 hours of the day 7 days a wkDo you have Excel on your laptop? I could possibly send you one form with formulae embedded. But you must have a spreadsheet software and if you can tell you what you need, I can design one for you. But you possibly have one already. Once you input the data, the form will do the sums for you.

As long as you hubs doesn't moan and you have few visitors, it's OK. I live by a very busy street so I feel better if I do it.
Sure does I agree 100% sometimes wish I had 9-5 on paye as soon as I get my new house will reassess my work garden life balanceWorse part of being self-employed....the unseen hours that are put in doing paperwork/ bookkeeping. I was in the same position for 25 years....takes it's toll on family life. Be careful @Leeski !!
Great pics @alp.....it's surprising all the late bloomers this year. My Dahlias have sprung back to life again too

according to soil survey chart our soil should be clay I have dug around 3 foot deep in various places and it’s between clay and top soil so not to bad when I first moved here we dug in a tonne or topsoil and loads of horse manure have Studied the soil by us and there’s a fertile area where the Estery use to run runs straight through the middle of the Wirral strange that’s where I have focused my house search ;-)Hard to have 9-5 if you are a chef! What kind of soil do you have in your area, clay? Make sure you choose one with a good aspect!
