Just finished 2 and a half hour of digging, watering and replanting. Dug up the echinops as it has taken up a lot of room. Thank heavens that I have done that. Its roots are like those of acanthus mollis - deep and difficult to eradicate. But glad that I have separate the whole clump into 4 plants and will pot them up instead. No way am I going to risk it by putting it to ground. Dug up irises and put them on the hottest border and water my very thirsty hellebores!

At 2pm we took the boys out, it started to rain, it got heavier and heavier. Got soaked, had to change my clothes, all went in the drier and jacket.
@alp you're always busy in the garden, well done. Not much to do in mine, waiting for the wallflowers to grow. The marigolds don't look so good but they fill the gap for a while. thinking of getting 2 more roses, haven't made up my mind which ones.

@alp you've had a busy day. It's a good idea to make a list as it's very satisfying to be able to tick them off one by one as you do them.(y)
I have found Echinops popping up in several new spots, think
the birds are seed sowing on my behalf!:D Are you going to keep your divided ones in pots now alp.....do they need big pots?

Love your wormery @Leeski ......there is no end to your talents!!!!:D

We had a great day at Petworth, it remained very warm despite the cloud bubbling up every so often, a few pics below, it's more parkland than garden though.

Yes, I did see in the weather report that you would have a bit of rain. And I thought I might have some, so I used up quite a bit of rain water from the butts. But there was only drizzle.

Was watching TV and watched Pride and Prejudice Episode 3 twice in 3 days. The casting was just so good and the music so nice. Love the music set to the visit to Rosings.

Sorry missed your request, @Upsy Daisy ! Didn't want to get up as I was so cold. I now realised that I have not shut my small bedroom window in a bit to improving the air quality. But it hasn't helped. Upsy please load them on the Virtual tour - all of them and in BIG FULL IMAGE please. Now, I am sweating with a long sleeves on.

Where is @Silentrunning ? I just recognized you are correct as usual

I think he's upset by someone's blunt talking or brutal truth or unpleasantness. Shame as he's really a nice guy. I did pc him and he told me he wouldn't want to waste time with forumers like those. Hope he's enjoying life with his lovely wife and gorgeous grand-children.

Good morning to a very apologetic @Upsy Daisy ! Sorry for "telling you off"!:notworthy:

A cold day and grey day. Son has got me some SEAWEEDS! Well pleased. But don't expect @Leeski 's bumper harvest from me!

Harvested some toms - no so small!:notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

I reckon those out on the ground will have thick skin. Have no idea what to do. Thought it was going to rain yesterday evening!:oops: ... drizzling and on the back of the weather chart, 1/3 of my precious water was used yesterday! :banghead::banghead::banghead:
