Off to work now :-( best not be till midnight again or will have to set some flood lights up in the garden lol
Have good day all
Your hobby makes the large effort painless I thinkJust finished 2 and a half hour of digging, watering and replanting. Dug up the echinops as it has taken up a lot of room. Thank heavens that I have done that. Its roots are like those of acanthus mollis - deep and difficult to eradicate. But glad that I have separate the whole clump into 4 plants and will pot them up instead. No way am I going to risk it by putting it to ground. Dug up irises and put them on the hottest border and water my very thirsty hellebores!
Where is @Silentrunning ? I just recognized you are correct as usualHobbies give me a sense of purpose and a will to get out and improve on things. Though for me, it's not always the case! Expediency ruins all my plans. Miss @Silentrunning !
At 2pm we took the boys out, it started to rain, it got heavier and heavier. Got soaked, had to change my clothes, all went in the drier and jacket.
@alp you're always busy in the garden, well done. Not much to do in mine, waiting for the wallflowers to grow. The marigolds don't look so good but they fill the gap for a while. thinking of getting 2 more roses, haven't made up my mind which ones.
