Yes, ideal weather for weeding, @Logan ! If only I can find my weedkiller!
It's still very dry here, hadn't had rain for over a week.
Did some card making this morning. Hubby picked a lot of apples from our trees, had to cook them. They had a grub in them, but had gone by the time they had to be picked. Have to put grease bands on the trunks this year and remove or the vegetation from around them. This afternoon did an hour of weeding. That's all i could do before my back started hurting, that's the time to stop. Anyway had to start the dinner at 1.30pm.

Productive day then, Logan! You must hunt for that grub or it will appear in somewhere least expected.

Took a lot of cuttings and offloaded two crates of woodchips onto the back garden.

Yes thanks, the grub had long gone before they were picked.

Hi!
Got home about half an hour ago after enjoying a fabulous day with our friends in Dorset....the weather was perfect!
On the way down hubs and I stopped off for a walk in the New Forest...all the Heathers are out, but sadly my pics don't do them justice. Will post some pics.

Hello, hello! I thought heathers only grew in cold places! How stupid I am!

Son is not coming home today and I can't blame him. I went upstairs to open another window. Wonder what I am going to do in winter!

Been out in the garden and found some very big beans - chopped up for noodles with a chicken thigh! Lovely and lazy meal. Also had celery, carrots and my home grow courgette! Yummy! Love courgette!

A new dahlia

Lovely photos. I must learn to use the TV to read emails. We viewed our holiday photos on the TV and they were so good that ex said they looked like professionally shot.

There are so much more details, Just as @DirtMechanic said, looking at them on a TV screen made a lot of difference.

Lovely forest scenes, especially love the horses roaming so near. Heather everywhere! Thank you for sharing.. Must have been a very nice day!

After a lovely BBQ with friends we spent the rest of the day on the beach , we even took a ferry ride. The weather was lovely and we could clearly see the Isle of Wight

Beautiful sand! Must have been a very pretty and relaxing day. Shame we don't have this kind of golden sandy beach ex's way. All rough stones and even a horrible seawall like a fortress! Gorgeous sand.Have you found any seaweed?

Good morning to a quiet day. Consulted the weather and the sun will be out at 9am and there might be rain at 7pm. Very happy as I have used up all the containers. It's going to be another busy day if the sun is not too hot. Going to pile up the wood chips and put horse manure on top and let it decompose over winter. Take some more cuttings and wash some pots and regroup!
