Had to sell some things on eBay & magpie- Morrison’s is a great supermarket there fish and bread is second to none !

Haven't tried the bread, but fish definitely is good. I bought organic flour and make my own bread using panasonic nearly every night.

I really enjoy watching the staff using a mallet to help slice a whole salmon. Sadly, we finished the last 2 pieces yesterday.

Lovely sunshine now, we've had all types of weather today !!

Have been cutting back and staking wind damaged plants and ripping out those that have gone over.. More seed collecting and also a spot of weeding, which was much easier now that the ground is damp and softer:)(y)

Yes, a lot can be done easily and faster now that the ground is a bit wet. Sadly. Not all the butts are full and I'm already pining for another round of rain! I need to take out the Australian bottlebrush and see how dry it is tomorrow and also all sorts of big pots. My garden was so badly baked. I'm gald that the woodchips have covered all the concreted area in the garden. This will reduce the heat a bit. Well done to you. I have done nothing, apart from gorging on pork!

Another very yummy looking meal @alp :)(y)

I bet you don't eat pork. That's the kind of meat left reduced. Didn't buy this one reduced though. The skin is not up to scratch. Meat itself is full of flavours though. Five spices, smoked paprika, ground rosemary with garlic, Cayenne pepper ..

The rain only stopped about 1pm ,so not a long gardening session.

No ,neither of us eat it, I personally can't stand the smell. But your meal certainly looked good(y)

Here, the rain stopped at 2.15pm and we filled all sorts of containers. Tomorrow, we will return the water in containers to the big butts. So can't complain. At least will have water for 10 days.

Thankfully our butts are all full now plus a few odd containers that we placed out........makes me feel much happier knowing we are back using rain water. Think the plants prefer it too, our water is hard. Walking around the garden despite have a few battered ones the rest of the plants look a lot healthier than they have done for a long time.:)

Downside is that the weeds are growing like crazy.....making up for lost time I think:LOL:(y)

We don't want a lot, do we?

I have to say that I would like to have a whole day of rain as the ground is now being covered by woodchips, so the soil is not really wet. But can't complain as this is far better than nothing.

Lovely flowers @Zenj and @alp that meal looks yummy Alp. Hubby can't eat joints of pork, it makes him unwell, his mom was the same. But he can eat sausages and bacon. I don't mind it,but it's no use me having it. My favourite is lamb, but too expensive. Have Sainsbury's beef, silver side very tender, also turkey.

Tesco's bread is good from the bakery, white and the wholemeal.
Have the breaded fish when ever it's reduced, from Morrisons or Sainsbury.:)
