Morning all
Rained all night woke me up a couple of times and still pouring now back to the NE norm .
@alp went to our local Wilco yesterday see if they had reduced tomato feed ,no such luck a tad too early I think ,forgot to thankyou for the £5 Wyevale voucher plants too dear so got a bag of manure paid a pound so bargain.

Gosh I always admire people who are so organised about their meal planning and preparation....

Thankfully we do stock a wide range of ingredients, so we add them to whatever jumps out at us saying ,eat me, eat me' !!

But its normally when we both realise we are hungry!! Thank goodness for the pressure cooker ....cooks meat in a jiffy

The only menu I know of in advance is the Christmas one

Good job hubs is a miracle worker with throwing ingredients together

@Zenj I am glad that it is useful to you. I didn't go myself as our Wyevale is so out of the way. Our local Wilko always leaves the clearance very late compared with other.

I'm training my son to be a good hub like yours! I think @Logan has a menu - so good for budgeting and easy for the one doing the shopping.

I have drained the water in butts to tubs without lids, thinking of the torrential deep blue rain band stagnant over Essex. Look at the latest revision. Quite different from the one I post in @Logan 's thread.

How can you plan your activities around such lousy forecasts???

I plan to visit Wisley too soon (health permitting), I might wait until it cools a little more and attend the flower show there at the beginning of September, last year was modest but good. They also have the RHS shop with lots of unusual finds but the prices are almost as ridiculous as Wyevale

It's all very well, having all this rain but not when we have to go out in it.

An hour ago hubby fell asleep with his laptop and just woke up. He said that his left leg is aching now. I said that he should make sure that he's sitting property before he goes to sleep.

Yes they have the same but It's how they interpret it.

Weather peeps are useless they can tell how much a iceberg has melted in the last 10 years but can’t give an accurate forecast for 24hrs
