Logan, you are a great gardener and pie baker, too? Too much talent in one person.(y)
All I did in the "garden" today was move some seedlings from under their dome to under grow lights. It was drizzly, foggy, and miserable outside so I baked Italian rolls and cleaned house. If the weather doesn't improve soon we are going to be living in a spotless home with more bread than we can eat in a year!

I seriously think you ALWAYS have a spotless house and I think you and Logan are both domestic goddesses, albeit one loves dog and you love cats. Those cat snaps are gorgeous. They are sooo lucky!

Good morning to all .. Another cold day. Last night we went to the extravagance of turning on the electric heater in the lean to and yet the temperature was the same 5 minutes ago i.e. 5.9c same as yesterday. So we might have been too mean. In the end, a hot water bottle and a a bowl of freshly boiled water.

The microwave just did 9 minutes of sterlising the compost. Once I put it in the microwave with a metal bowl and hell, the whole house smelt hydrocarbon!

Yes, do protect your plants, @Perki ! Could be heart breaking if your plants died because of the snap. Winter has already done its damage to mine. All my fishing rods had yellow limp rods. No possible sign of any fish!

Bought about 6 tomato greenhouse for £1 each. Going to erect them inside my lean-to. No more hot water sauna or electric heater. Hope it helps my sowing as well.

That should help.
I don't do much housework, just when it needs doing.

Zenji We also are going to have 5c and 5am it's 0c. This is our fabulous weather in end of Feb and this is awful.

But the sunshine makes it nice to stay inside a car, which is what I am going to do. Out of hibernation and seek out any more bargains. I saw a vitis for £7. What does vitis mean sour or sweet grape?

@Upsy Daisy Dierama and I call it fishing rod. They are very nice swayed by breeze

and they add a bit of architectural height to a border. But Perki has dampened my great expectation. Never mind, the seeds are free! Whey Hey! At least, they germinated very quickly. Quite unlike peonies. But now the blades are yellow and I have given some a tug and my prognosis is not good!

I have about 40 peony seeds .. I just let them stew in a shaded corner. My peony called FuYu which I thought was red has ONE bud. I just hope this very unique bud is NOT going to fall. This has happened to me before. I have waited 6 years or more for this!
