@alp like the Lagurus Ovatus, very unusual.

Went to keiths this afternoon, disigned and made the birthday card for my son. Binned the first attempt it didn't look right. I stuck the die cut pieces to the card and warped the card. I stamped flowers around the edges and keith said that the card wouldn't take the wetness of the watercolor, so it went in the bin.

This one is a lot better, Don't know if you can see i used holographic card and die cut the red square, butterflies and lettering. The square stuck it with double sided tape and the butterflies with sticky foam. Lettering with glue. The gems had sticky already on.
Really pleased with it.

1% charge. Not cheap. But will get some more. Won't pay upfront and have to read the small print as some say they can get commission even if you don't sell the house via them. Funny thing is that the weather has disorientated me. I kept thinking that it is summer!

At one point, I thought it was an Asian Honet!
I didn't know that they could charge before the sell.
It's nearly summer at the end of this month.

Can't see anything different, sorry, Logan! You know I suffer from retinal detachment. They don't charge before. They charge if they can sell the house.

Perki I love the colour of Salvia Amistad more though. I also love the violet and electric blue. One thing good about salvia is that they germinate very well. No fuss and I thought one died and I chucked it in the compost bin, only to find that it didn't think it's time for it to go. so I recued it and now it's singing or rather humming!

I hope the Arsenal job goes to Arteta! And Conte shuts down Mourinho! That will make my day!

Nice plant amistad , I thought mine had died in the GH but it started growing again, my two cutting are doing well :)

Chelsea Won :D:D:D

Been round to my mum and put some more stone down for the path, come back and watched the match. Mowed the lawn and edged after footy. Attacked some ivy climbing up the buddlea. And messed around with some clematis tying some in and trying to encourage them to grow across the fence not 2ft+ above the top of fence. I want some more clematis.

I did go GC after all, i wanted another dark leaf fucshia but sold out, picked up a rudbeckia herbstone after mine didn't make it after a slug attack.

Yes! Mourhinho(sic) will still have something to say. The man is so unsettling. Reminds me of Mr P... I must take some more salvia cuttings - just love them. Can't wait to see the pink, violet and blue ones to come up. Now they are on the border. It doesn't look nice, but when the salvias fill out the border, it should look good. I have another pile of oriental poppies to get rid of. I will let this lot flower. I saw lidl selling some very lovely fuchsias which had flowers looking up and shaping up like Daff Jetfire. I so want to go round gcs, but I am now a church pauper/mouse! Wish I could use a broom for commuting.

Very disappointing bits on erythroniums. Last time, this keen specialists had a whole hillside full of them and they were of different colours. Very, very pretty. This time, only a tiny bit and very few varieties of them. I hope the salvia one next week will be richer in content.

Logan: not very keen on decoupage or montage, sorry! But good effort and a lovely way to do something different. Good night everyone!

Good morning to a very surprisingly FOGGY day! And it's rather cold again. Today, going to put out another fabric planter and plant out some more salad leaves. I still have 10 trays to transplant. It's going to be a messy business.

Messy business: Conte is leaving, as predicted - Roman A should be THE COACH! No, of course not, he can't really perform his perennial sacking! I hope Henry and Viera will join Arteta! Hope Moyes finds his happy home as a coach!

Alp thanks. You've got a lot of lettuce to do. I'm concentrating on the fruit a lot more. Woman next door gave me a strawberry plant, i think it's a cross between a strawberry and raspberry called Framberry. She said it's so much nicer than a ordinary strawberry.

If you're talking about football, not interested in the game.

Good morning all...My head hurts, my mouth tastes like the bottom of a budgie's cage :poop: ...you get the picture...Had a wee family BBQ yesterday whilst the sun was still shining and this, I'm afraid is the aftermath...not as if I haven't been here before on various occasions after a bouts of over wineification and self punishment. Anyway it was a good day.
Unlike today which sees the temperatures plummet and the rain falling...not complaining though as the plants and grass need it after 3-4 days of hot weather.

This gnarly bush grows directly outside the place where I work, its like a rose type but not not a rose..thick branch like stem, very thorny with polished leaves and a nice small compact crimson bloom anyone know what it is and how to take a cutting?

Morning . Got sprinkler out now on the garden, forecast to be sunny all week again. I thought that big rain cloud was coming this way but looks like its got stuck over BigC :p. Going to put some more plant in today hopefully and pot on some more. Apple tree not got much blossom on this year.

It looks like a Chaenomeles ( ornamental quince ) BigC.
Keep us updated on the Framberry Logan, I'll get some if they are good.

10 outta 10 @Perki thanks..it is a Chaenomeles (ornamental Quince) definitely getting me one of those..The one by my work place falls short on flowers being by a roadside but the ones I just googled seem to bloom profusely...Yep it goes on the ever increasing list lol

The work on the dress @alp is all in the veil...finest silk with 25 flowers of the commonwealth included around its edges....apparently the designers had to wash their hands every half hour...I kinda liked it..it suited her natural beauty..but I agree with you on the price tag and I'm sure it is already being copied as we speak.

Another plant to make it through the winter was my Parthenocissus henryana. I have lost this on a previous occasion and it took me over a year to find it again in the not so local GC.
