Plant I believe is a glaucidium palmatum , camera I have had about a year it’s a Nikon a900 compact decent zoom and built in WiFi so it downloads direct to my iPad

Nice! I was too late for a Nikon D5300 all sold out.

Evening all, it's been a showery old day, I got soaked quite a few times whilst outside, trying in vain to finish the Bar section of the project...I've been at it all day on and off and I really should have got a lot more done if it wasn't for the ghastly weather. Anyway I've retired for the evening and I hope tomorrow brings some clement weather.
As you can see I've got the bare-bones of the unit built with wine rack and beer store...I need to paint it all now and mount the stone slabs. Then embellish it with a few bits n bobs. Please don't judge it just yet... there's a lot more to do...

So much better watching GW in 4K. How come the 4K didn't stop me falling asleep. Jam and beer, how I wish I lived near some of you... Glad that you have had a lovely evening, Upsy ..

You soon get stuck in BigC.

I don't think much or of any BBC channels and many more channels aren't in 4K maybe plant earth was shot in 4k , most HD channels are upto 1080p or 1080i. I've been holding out for years waiting for 4K tv / other content to catch up, they still not enough content for 4K yet.

Was GW good....haven't seen it yet, will catch it tomorrow.

Can't be very good. I felt asleep at 8.20 and son woke me up by calling and shaking me, "Mum, mum!" Not as good as the first one.

4K is a bit wasteful. They use the vivid mode and it costs and the screen is flooded with light and instant you feel the world is lighter. I wish I had waited to get a Samsung as they have this crystal clear whatever. But to tell you the truth, I just have to buy one that fits my bill. £325 is better than buying one £239 Toshiba. As I have never used LG, so I actually paid for warranty. Anything is better than the 19" Hitachi monitor comme bedroom TV. I could hardly read the text on it.

Very grey and cold. Feel like turning on the radiator.

Morning all, very grey and nippy down here.
Not really sure what to do today, not a lot in the garden as the ground is just so saturated.:(

No doubt I can find some housework to keep me occupied:)

Just going to catchup on GW first :)(y)

Have a good day doing whatever you're doing(y)

LG is supposed to be better than Samsung. Hubbys still waiting for the price to come down.
While he's waiting they bring newer ones out.

@Logan There is always something new or coated as new coming up every year. The pain in my knees just tells me that there is no need to wait and wait or buy the most expensive. I'm happy with this one. They said this was the one Sky gave to its customers. Well, for that price it was OK.

Perki To use 4K on some programmes is just a pure waste of money - Imagine Pointless having 4K?! It's not going to pull in more viewers. A most pointless of programme! Mean and nasty! LOL! 4K on the hosts - now that would be POINTLESS! :censored:
