Raining right now. So pleased that it is proper rain, not just drizzle and damp.

Son had an appointment nearby after we had returned some borders for the wall papers to the diy store, so I waited for him to finish ..

The deer have discovered my feeding spots along the river. They start gathering when they hear me calling the birds but keep their distance.

Morning all its dry at the moment ,but rained all yesterday and all night 6c today ,Going to a works reunion tonight a lot are retired now like myself and some I haven't seen for 15 years so looking forward to it probable bad head tomorrow.

Oh dear @alp , I hope you manage to get the laundry dry.....I'm attempting to put another load out too! As I mentioned to you yesterday the line broke in the strong winds.......still blowing out there now but maybe a tad less strongly,so fingers crossed!!

@Upsy Daisy I have been sitting here trying to improve on the internet connection speed. Wonder if any of you sons has any advice. I hope you have done your laundry and it is now GLORIOUSLY SUNNY. Would be criminal not to dry your clothes in such FABULOUS weather. Wouldn't understand why there would be floods and rescues in Lancashire! ..

Alp, have you spoken to your service provider and asked them why your speed is so slow and intermittent? A few years back, before fibre, my speed was slow. I queried it, they made excuses, I queried again and asked for a senior manager to get back to me. My line was then checked and it was found to be capped for some reason. Worth fussing about !

Er... How much? Can I pinch your code? My knees go even weaker when someone mentioned perfume or fragrance. But that's the one that is a cross between veronica, snapdragon and gaura.. OK, I have calmed down.. My little heart can take all that excitement.

How much is that lovely perfumed plant then? OK, whisper to me in conversation. A lady from isp phoned me every night. Last night, she disrupted an hour long download of Tom Tom of our maps.. Son was not amused. I went to youtube and google and on one video, a man who sounded like an idiot suggested some changes and I sat there for an hour, just to follow all those steps. In the end, the eejit should that his download speed had improved to 1mbps and upload speed to 0.56mbps.. No wonder, one comment reads I felt like being taught by a retard.

Very slight or near no improvement. I think all these providers should come clean about the minimum speeds people can expect instead of up to how many.. Up to 17mbps can actually receive 3mbps..

I went to Which? and ran a test and they provided me with a template and a letter to the isp has actually been actioned on.. You see.. She said she's going to give me a refund.
