Just preparing the border for my raspberry canes. Been weeding and digging up some blackberry runners to go somewhere and 2 gooseberry bushes that rooted from another plant. Put them in pots for now. Also moved a few raspberry canes that desided to root in the lawn.

Ha ha alp. Its a great time of year for buying perennials. Potted up they will still make root growth and come spring they will be in vigorous mode :)
Linaria Dial Park is one of my expected plants ;)

It's like a cross amongst snapdragon, gaura and veronica! Hehe! Don't you think? Looks nice.

You've been working so hard, Logan!

I washed about 50 pots and spent half a day standing in front of the oven .. sweating profusely. Chicken for lunch .. Too burnt (add honey too early) for photos and salmon for dinner .. It was so hot for me that I forgot all about taking photos..

Oh dear that's a shame, what did you have for lunch. Didn't you put any foil over it? Tomorrow taking Barley for his check up about the tooth he had out. Found a abscess on his gum where the tooth was. Appointment is for 10.30am. Miss all the traffic.

Oh, poor Barley and poor you, Logan. The worry and the vet bill are no laughing matters. I didn't put foil over it, but the honey was put on too early .. Loved the flavour - cayenne pepper, paprika, cumin, pepper, the juice of one whole lemon. Even son loved the juice coming out of the dish. Ex loved anything with cumin in it. Hehe! Dessert was a 28p latticed cherry pie with heavy dollops of ice cream.. We all enjoyed it. (Ex was very civilised - he might be pretending that he loved it!). Then I couldn't bear the idea of having bread.. So another round of cooking endorsed by ex - he said he wouldn't blame me for not stomaching the idea of having bread!) So another round of potatoes and the salmon was delicious. This times the potatoes were much better in flavour - jacket potatoes and they were softer and nicer than the desiree potatoes.

But I ended up perspiring profusely ..

That's great that they liked it. I don't make a lot of puddings. It's cheaper to buy them.

Just heard that Rodney Bewes has died. He was nearly 80.

Ah, that's Rodney Bewes! I never knew his name. Apparently, he and James Bolan hated each other. I quite like James Bolan as he has been in quite a number of sitcoms.

David Cassidy is a sad case. I reckon he had been fleeced by his managers and he had his demons.. A lot of these singers, like Michael Jackson, are really sad casualties of their managers .. Money at the root of troubles and tragedies again. I love a few of his songs. Shame he didn't age well and he couldn't extricate himself out of his own problems.. Dementia is another timebomb.

Yes I'm the same, never know there names until i see the faces. Yes it's a Shame for these artists. It's always something from what they are.
I always wanted to be a singer, but when i was 15 i changed my mind. Because of what happens to them. But i still sing at home, usually in the kitchen. I know almost all the carpenters songs and a few of George Michael.

Could you just sing a bit and upload the sound track to youtube please? My son can be one of panel judges! You could sing over some flowers.. Like my lousy hellebores

The piano was played by my son. Not very good. Just for a laugh!

This is the latest one from my son
