Very wise to buy a corner plot as you get more land and one fewer adjoining neighbour!

Yes i wanted the house because of the bigger garden and hubby wanted detached house that was bigger for his sound system, for his home cinema. We've been here for about 25 years and i've never been in any of the neaghbours houses. I do speak to them, very chatty with next door, but that's about it. I prefer it that way.

Nice to have a detached house. No neighbour's smoke coming into your house or people complaining when your son goes down the stairs too loudly! Can resell at a higher price as well. Also, there won't be the misunderstanding that when you sell your house, your neighbour's house is thought to be included as well!

Is that what happened to you, they thought that your neighbour's was as well?

Yes, how hilarious was that? The photo included part of my neighbour's door and this Bangladeshi kept asking me, "How about next door?"

Wish we had sold the house at that point. But all the meanies came to view and that really depressed me. I am off to exercise now.

Good morning, Logan ! Last night, I had another bonfire. All the fumes blew back into the house. That's why all the "alien" fumes lingers in my house. Today, we're going to build a little wooden wall rather than using bricks.

Why are you building a little wall?

There is already a little wall there. I need something to retain the soil so that I can grow the pyracantha. Anybody can walk into the garden from the back or the sides.

Haven't you got any fencing?

My elderly neighbour had a spring old bedframe and tons of muds on this side. I am going to put a line of pellet-compost bins on his side and a rockery to bury all the rubble underneath. Hopefully this will tidy up the area.

Met a woman selling her house at this moment and she said it was very slow going and she's only got a terraced. I'm in trouble. I wish I had no garage as I can't lower my price. But if people have that sort of money, they would go for new builds. Move in and no hassle. Catch 22.

It's a bit slow to sell houses at the moment, in spring it will pick up, march time.

Morning all!
Having to rewrite this post as I accidentally placed it on @Logan's programme thread !!All this moon watching has made me a bit dippy
Well we didn't get to see the who!e show but it was amazingly bright outside last night.......here's a pic I took.......stunning don't you think

Walking into town to meet a friend for a coffee and catch- up, hips are playing up so also plan to walk back as well........hopefully that will oil the old joints a bit,
