Where do you site your greenhouse, @Upsy Daisy ? In the sun or part shade or in the shade please? I kept my stuff in the lean to and it now has moudy walls. Need to clean and clear it. I spent 1 and a half hours tending the bonfire. It was burning so well. I felt like a smelly smoky stink bomb. I couldn't show you my plants as they were disgusting. My heart bled seeing the casualties.
Just a thought @alp , but do you keep your lean to well ventilated! I even open up the greenhouse and cold frames on most days.

No ventilation at all. When I see how the winds blow, I just want to cry. The foul airs can come across the road from the bungalow where the couple burn dirty stuff to warm their house. I can smell it when they have their burner on. We can't open windows on that side as the road out there is very busy and the exhaust fumes are enough to ruin our health. Then, the factory airs next door are blown into my garden and by some freak, they are blown into my lean to, ie. into my house. When I saw the winds blow and how the bonfire smoke drift towards my lean to, I nearly burst into tears.

Oh dear @alp , you are definitely faced with a big problem :(
Ventilation is probably the main cause for concern, but there is obviously not much you can do to rectify the problem.:(:(

Try and stay positive and let us all join you in hoping that you will soon be able to move on to somewhere else.....soon!(y)

Then we will all be able to share the excitement of watching you plan and build your new garden....surrounded by much cleaner air:):).

My galanthus Snow Fox. It has some tiny markings on the petal and a strong and distinctive marking on the innards.

A maroon or red veined and freckled hellebore! Confused, you bet!

Good morning and the road outside is already busy. A lorry must have gone up to either Tesco, Aldi, or Co-op; my house was shaking. Another reason to move.

It seems to be a rainy day. Yesterday, we had another bonfire and we need one more to clear all the wood from the back. Amazing how little wood ash there is after burning such a voluminous amount of wood.

And one with a raised ruffled collar. Very interesting feature.

It's raining now and is grey. I have received the reblooming irises from an infamous online supplier and plus ca change. They were like dead straw. No more irises from them. They are now being soaked and warmed near my radiator. At this rate, I would be happy if they are alive, not to say flower! Should have taken some photos.. Very tiresome ...

Morning! How's everyone today?

Grey start to the day, but looks like things are brightening up now. Just a quick check on the greenhouse and cold frames, might get to sow some seeds in the milk containers before popping over to see big sis.:)

Exciting triple moon phenomenon tonight.....think I heard it will be a blood moon, blue moon and a super moon , last occurred back in the 1800's.......knowing our luck it will be cloudy:(

Have a Whimsical Wednesday(y)

Thank heavens we don't have storm from the SW or the whole of Cornwall might be washed away. Just think of the tidal surges. Quite frightening.

Have you got a link, @Upsy Daisy, for the info please?
