Reading about different perennial Herbs and several are in the Mint family.

Do they spread like Mint? Going to plant in a Raised Bed so them spreading out of them is not the problem it's will they overtake the Bed?

I heard that if root systems of different types of mint mix they lose their distinctive smell, pineapple, lemon, whatever, and all end up smelling of ordinary mint. It was a woman from Devo on the radio who grows over a hundred different ones that said it.

There was a lady on the radio who grows over a hundred different 'flavours' of mint. She said if you let the roots mix they all come out smelling the same. Don't know if that would happen with spearmint and peppermint, they actually look like different plants.

This is why I put them in different Pots.

I actually would like to get Chocolate Mint.
