Hello vette-kid, I'm watching Florence land along the Carolinas on TV right now.

I'm thankful it didn't come this way, but I feel for folks on the east coast.

People, please heed the warnings and leave the area of these storms! It just isn't worth the risk.

September's end finds us putting some finish touches on this summer's pool project-reseeded the lawn with a fescue blend, and got the pavers finished poolside.

the pool house and gate are ready for finish paint-this week.

At first I was surprised, because the white rose had a pink flower. But then I realized that it was a double calystegia, which I had long lost in the garden.
