I've been meaning to upload to pics from the garden for a while! So here's a selection.

We had an unusual visitor to the garden - a Jay. They're not exactly rare, but we don't often see them in the garden. This one had taken a liking to our fat-ball feeder:

Not garden related but a friend brought me these unusual tulips - aren't they gorgeous?! My brother thought they looked like little gem lettuces

Our rhododendron and ceanothus were in full bloom:

Your Rhododendron looks wonderful Becky. :) They seem to have done well all over the country this year, perhaps it's down to the mild winter and spring.

Wow Becky your yard is lovely, has a formal feel to it and looks inviting.

Thanks! The design was pretty much done by the previous owner. We like all the buxus, but there was a lot of laurel that we took out. When my back is better (or maybe before then depending on my delegation stills ;) ) I'm thinking of having a native section in a part of the garden that doesn't get much sun - I'm thinking lots of ferns and woodland plants :)
