This is an urban park near the house in the city.
My garden is two hours away from here, in the forest, and looks much more modest! :)

No flowers here yet. Bulbs are sprouting, trees have buds, but nothing yet. May get snow Wednesday or Thursday, something like that, but I doubt it’ll be much if any. We just don’t get a lot here. I’m looking forward to the rain though. I’ll put the bulbs out to get watered. They are in the gazebo just to keep critters away from them, and random frosts we may get off.

Rain! It’s warm out, in the 60s, so I dashed out to put the bulbs where they can get rain. And it promptly stopped. So I hope we get more. We need it, and plenty of it. A nice slow rain to sink deep in the earth. Weather man says we’ll get 2/100s of an inch, with 8 more tonight, equaling 1/10th. my forecast this morning said we’d expect rain next few days, but it’s natoru for not being very accurate.

And it’s freezing. Icy precipitation, freezing fog. I’m worried about my plants! I hope the gazebo protects them enough I don’t loose much. It’s a good block for precipitation, and some of the wind, but has broken windows, so I worry.

I think God gives us this time of year to toughen us up. 73 degrees one day and in the low 30s the next. I keep looking at my garden plot and it is all I can do to keep from planting seeds. I guess I will go out and plant some onion sets and turnips just to get my fix.

The husky was shivering on the porch, he’d tangled himself around the swing with his line, so I brought him in. Not even 5 min later, he wants out! It’s slick out today, freezing rain. He just wants to stay out, unless he’s getting human food inside. I think he’s soaking up the cold for summer.

Roads aren’t good tonight. We spent 7+ hrs on a 2 hr trip, a lot of slipping and sliding, the semi tried to go sideways down the road, my butt literally left a pucker in the seat cover.

Oh, dear! Make sure you go home in one piece. I have had a soar patch in my butt ever since I went on my exercise bike. Need to get tyres with better grip! That's what we are going to do on Saturday. So expensive.

Wahoo!! My amaryllis seed pod is getting bigger!! (y)

I've decided to fix an unused coffee filter around the stem, and just let it go 'til it pops! :D

@alp, @Daren, wanted to make sure you saw this! (y) Thank you for the encouragement.

Your plant might not have flower next year, perhaps. They won't fly everywhere, might drop on the floor .. The pod will split open and you can see it. Quite fun! Enjoy!

Things are thawing enough we can haul our load. I snapped a few pics. Half a coating of ice as it thaws.
