Looking good for a bumper crop of wisteria blooms...again. You know you've got the pruning right, when at this stage, there's not a leaf to be seen.

Front garden i know that the lavender looks a bit woody but when it flowers can't see it.

Our "lollypop acer" in our small font garden.
Each winter, I prune up to a foot off it all round, to restrict its growth and to keep its shape. It's about 20 ft tall.
It didn't go very pink this year, but there's blossom on it already.
It's been here since I moved it from the back garden in 1987, when I was building our tea-house, as it was in the way. It was right where I intend putting the steps.
It survived being moved mid-summer.
