If you have a very bright sunlit room you can grow tomatos of the Patio variety or cherry tomatos if you have the room. You can be sucessful with lettuce also. In fact you can grow a lot of things-----------it all depends on the sunlight you recieve
Yep, you can grow peppers indoors. They are just like tomatoes, self pollinating. Micro-Tom is a tiny tomato plant with tiny tomatoes. Patio F Hybrid is probably what you want though. It gets to about 2 feet tall and has nice sized fruit. Another one is Red Robin which will top out at abou 1 1/2 feet tall but it is a cherry type. Another one is Tiny Tim. It will get about 2 feet tall and another cherry type. There is a hanging basket type tomato called Tumbling Tom. I got these out of one of my seed catalogues. The only one I have actually grown is the Patio Hybrid. Can you grow peppers indoors? Are they self-pollinating like tomatoes? Can you name some Patio varieties?

The Patio Hybrid has 4 oz tomatoes, about the same size as a celebrity. It will be difficult to move around a full sized determinate plant and if you want large tomatoes they are your only option.I'll see what kind I can find around here. I'm not gonna go for any cherry kind, I guess. I like my tomatoes bigger than that
