On a meme thread on a music board someone posted this yesterday.

I posted.

I do and I can play it.

They responded, "But can you do the moves?"

I replied, "No! But neither could Rick Astley!"

His original YouTube video has had over a billion hits.

Judy Johnson orginally Betty Bonney

There's a difference of opinion as to whether a young Andy Williams or Lauren Bacall herself sang the song in the film "To Have or Have Not."

In a interview Richard said that with the original recordings some of the musical instruments had to be recorded in mono, now he has the chance to record in stereo.

I watched the film "Laura" with Gene Tierney and Dana Andrews last night on "Talking Pictures." I've watched it several times before when it's been on.
It has a theme tune, played as background music through much of the film and even by a band in a restaurant.
It's also played over the opening credits, in my opinion at too fast a tempo, (probably to get them all in)
A few years ago I taught myself to play it at a more suitable speed.

This might be a bit heavy for some.
It's 20 years old

One of my favourite alto players.

The keyboard player is Jeff Lorber, another favourite of mine

This might amuse, great little story, again I've had it 20 years.

It's a live performance from a club.

Great piano accompaniment, I like the chord progressions.

So I played and recorded it myself. Carole King's original version has far fewer chords in it.

My version of Georgia is more restrained, (can't play it any other way).

Ricky Nelson an under-rated singer.
This came up on a music board.

There's another video where he's miming to it.

I heard this in the Mel Gibson film "Payback" on TV the other night.
I'd not heard it for years. Now I've a 45 single of it in my Motown, Soul & R&B jukebox.
