My garden is more active today than it's been all year! I've seen four species of butterflies, including a female Monarch laying eggs on my milkweed, all kinds of bee activity, dragonflies, and a couple pairs of Swamp Milkweed Leaf beetles.

I need to look at the photos again and again. The clarity cools the dizzy HEAT!

I've been thrilled with Purple Poppy Mallow. So glad I added it to my garden this year. Its color is so shockingly saturated that even my camera doesn't quite show it like it really looks.

One of the bees I was trying to photograph on the Purple Poppy Mallow decided to land on me. They do that quite often, actually.

Stunning! I want your camera and plants. That's all I want. Not very greedy! That colour is so striking. Is this a new camera or still the one you mentioned to me - Canon Powershot SX160 IS please?

Same one, I'll have this one until the day I accidentally drop and break it, probably.

Thank you. I need to google some more about the price. I will fast all the more. I don't need to buy any new plants as I don't have water to keep them alive!:LOL:

It's getting pretty inexpensive at this point. Even the camera I've been considering in the future is starting to get pretty inexpensive. Might actually consider upgrading. Maybe next year.
