Which is the best way to water plants and my lemon?
Most plants do not like to be wet. They prefer slightly moist. Plant roots must have oxygen and if the soil is continually wet the water displaces the oxygen and the plant literally drowns and/or gets root rot and dies, just like a person would with his head stuck in a bucket of water. When you water a plant you should completely saturate it. If you have proper drainage the excess water will drain off leaving the entire root system with adequate moisture and oxygen. Only when the soil is dry to about 2 inches deep do you water again. Depending on the size of the container, the growing medium and weather, usually about every 7-10 days. The larger the container the longer you can go without watering, up to a point. You cannot over water a plant but you can and will kill a plant by watering too often.

I love your determination at growing your lemon tree from a pot. It would take lots of patience and hard work before it becomes a full grown tree.

Do you know what kind of lemon it is ? I have a Meyer lemon tree that will drop its leaves if it gets to dry or stays wet to long, but the lemons are great and on the sweet side.

Distinguishing between water quantity and water frequency is an extremely helpful comment for a newcomer. Thanks

I think you are watering too often. I don't like the yellowing of the lower leaves and the curling of the top leaves. And remove those ties. The tree needs to be able to hold itself up
