I trimmed my Wandering Jew and use the cuttings for starts.

I thought this Geranium I bought was about 3 plants found it was only one. So took couple cuttings off it.

Did some cleaning up for some more plants.

This is the first year trying this with Onions so don't know.

I bought three small lavenders about six weeks ago. I put them in a plastic tub that fits in the ceramic pot. They are doing very well. This was yesterday. Today I jet-washed the patio as it needed it. Got to do a bit of repointing later this week.

Each year, I prune back our azalea hedge which grows over the low curtilage wall.

But it always "retaliates" by putting on new growth in the spring. The flowers will be out next week.

I weeded my corn and onions rows. Then mowed the two acre lawn.
Canadian geese are landed on my pond. They don't stay long. when they take flight they always raise a ruckus and honk like crazy. Makes my day !

Dang hard day. Sprayed some Cabbage.

Fed my Worms.

Cleaning at the Chicken Run.

Son caught me feeling my Garden Soil. Is it dry enough? I don't know. Because it is supposed to rain tonight I decided to have it Tilled.

So I spent rest the day planting. Only did 20X20 but expanding another 20X30.

Oh my poor Hummingbirds. My wife asked why I used her artificial sugar for my Hummingbirds? I thought it was regular Sugar. So today I changed it. Now my Hummingbirds are Happy Happy.

I did a bit today. I was going to re-point the patio where necessary, but it is likely to rain. So I mowed the lawn and fed the pots.

We're looking quite good, as the wisterias are nearly out.

Put the last if the amish paste Tom's in the ground. Reduced tomato plants down to 35. Had 45 last year and still have months worth of canned or dehydrated one.

Put 6 black beauty zucchini in the ground.

Traded 6 quarts of green beans and 2 quarts of canned tons for a truck bed full of horse manure with a local farmer.

Heavy storms here tonight. Lots of rain , lightning, and wind. Just a reminder, when the rains stop , the heat begins. I'm so thankful I live on the high ground. The creek has risen and is covering the road, but I don't have to go anywhere.
Y'all be safe now.!
Meadowlark, did y'all get storms too?
