Just back to survey any possible damage to the garden. :( Thunderstorms forecast but here we seem to have missed them.....so far! Some places locally have seen heavy rain. But it is very windy, even here in my walled garden. Prob have to check dahlias, heleniums and the like later to see if their supports have held.
Very hot and very humid.....not far from the coast so it must be stifling in the towns and cities today

Beverly, YES! My husband just came in from changing the blades on the shredder, and when I asked him what group Bowser sang with, he looked at me like I'd lost my mind. "Sha-na-na" of course."
Sometimes it's very hard for him to be married to someone so out of touch with the important things of life . . . .

I thought any Schnauzer was quite optimistic to breed with a bloodhound!
There was a music group in the 60's and 70's, and the bass singer was called Bowser. I can't remember the name of the group, but my husband will. He has a mind like a steel trap, while mine is more like a steel sieve.

My mother was a great dane, and my father was a chiwawa....

I know what you're thinking...

He stood on a chair :D

I got back to see a large tarp charging up to the veg plot, didn't do too much damage.

My mother was a hamster and my father smelt of elderberries.

Sha Na Na - he was Jon "Bowzer" Bauman. The band took their name from the nonsense sounds "Sha na na na, sha na na na na" in the song "Get A Job." They had a television show for a while, in their gold lamé and greased back pompadours. :)

Bowzer is the skinny one in the muscle shirt.

I think I found the original. :p :sneaky:

i bagged up a container of compost and started a new one. What a wonderful feeling. It is something that you just cannot buy. I also transplanted a Cassia fistula sapling (Golden Shower Tree). It is a skinny little stick 22"/56 cm but fortunately things grow fast here. I transplanted it to a 3 us gallon/11.4 ltr container, will let it grow as big as it can and then transplant to the garden. I hope it knows what to do to become a tree. It should. I know what to feed it and that's about all:).

Bravo @zigs :) Who would have thought? A blood hound and a schnauzer. So a breed. As for Bowser Buster, i am in love and want to take him home:love::love: Did you see this @DeborahJane?

My other bowser runneth over and over and over but the sun and big puffy white clouds are putting on a show today against a pure blue sky.
How cute.
