11:00 am, 90°F its going to be muggy today, did some weeding around 7:30 am I'm done for the day.
Can't blame you! LOL!

I finished weeding the tomato patch today, picked some cucumbers, and perspired! My Aunt Tula said that horses sweat, ladies perspire. I must be some kind of lady!
We start out in the high 70's and by noon are approaching the 90's. We have been lucky with an off-and-on cloud cover, so working outside isn't as bad as it will be later in the month.

@marlingardener I agree that in a hot day, some cloud covers are a reprieve. Here it's cold and breezy and a bit overcast. Having said that it's only 5am. I'm dreading the sun already. 13 to 20 c .. will do nicely for me.
What a cold day it has been. I am freezing! Temperature is barely 18c and then they say it will be 26 on Wednesday.. Oh, dear .. don't know which one is a bigger evil.. Too cold or too hot...

I believe too cold is harder to survive, especially if < 0°C.Easier to die in such conditions.
And in hot, let's say extremes of 45°C, you just need a lot of water to keep hydrated, stay out of direct sunlight and you will be fine (if you're healthy, of course).
But both situations are very uncomfortable.
