Blackie never lets up; I look forward to visiting Rufforth Auto Jumble (York) the first Saturday of each month; I've been watching the forecast and for us in Huddersfield the forecast was for heavy rain but Rufforth light showers; I said to my chum David whom I'm meeting at Rufforth by the time Saturday arrives the forecast will change so here it is;
Due to dire weather this will be the first Rufforth visit for four months; why does Blackie love me so much because it's a classic love hate relationship.
I've already visited three supermarkets and having now enjoyed a brew I'm heading into the workshop where I can shut Blackie out of my life for a short while.
Can't complain as the ground is now too dry. Thinking of watering some plants until I see this map. Tell you the truth - not a drop of rain here. Correction: Drizzle has been and the ground is wet.
It's time I shared my Blackie; not raining here at the moment but the garden remains soaking wet with puddles in the street. I bought 6 potted Viburnum months ago; dare I put them in the garden?
Fortunately Blackie can't soak me whilst I'm in the workshop.
Thanks Logan; I wish you would adopt Blackie because we have more than enough rainfall the year round fortunately Bron and I live on a steep valley side so don't suffer flooding although I installed flood defences a few years ago to divert the water run off from the rear garden; during really heavy rain we have a 5' wide stream to the side of our bungalow with the other side running into a big deep drainage channel but here's what happens lower down a few miles from us in Mirfield;
