@Durgan, considering the short time you have frost free that's a very good crop you achieve. (y)

Thank you Trellum, that's helpful to me when discussing or reading about plants. :)

Sorry, I must had missed it! But I've mentioned before I live very close to Amsterdam ;) Right now I'm in mexico, but going back to the Netherlands soon.
Gardening in Mexico and gardening in the Netherlands has to be a contrast. I know you've mentioned you can't do to much where you are but it sounds like you manage a bit.
Love tomatoes and although I'm not a great veggie gardener I do seem to manage tomatoes but they don't look as professional as yours Sheal and Durgen. I need to take my staking more seriously.:X3:

They look great!:D And you have so many of them:D
I've never been a big fan of cherry tomatoes, but I'm sure I'd like Sungolds.
"Cherry" covers quite a variation in size.
Sungold are almost small standard-sized tomatoes.
I'm not the biggest fan of yellow/orange tomatoes, as I like more acidity in the balance, but that's only a matter of taste and many people love them.
They look very healthy, well-grown plants, with particularly strong, sturdy stems.
It's obvious that Sheal knows how to grow her tomatoes, alright
That is a prime example for you North Americans, of how we have to grow our indeterminate tomatoes in the British Isles.

Your tomatoes look great, tomatoes were the first plant I learned to plant as a kid and I feel in love with gardening.

It is you can grow almost everything in mexico... lemon trees, avocado trees, but almost nothing can grow without loads of help in the Netherlands. The fruit there tastes horrible :p Unless its imported, then is not so bad, nothing come close to Mexico, once you taste both you can't get used to it.

Thank you everyone. Tomatoes are temperamental plants to grow and contending with different weather each year we are never sure about the crop we will achieve. Earlier in the season I was on the verge of giving up on my plants, but as you can see they've come good! :)

Sungold are almost small standard-sized tomatoes.

'Sungold' were recommended to me for this years season as I couldn't find seed for the usual small tomato I grow 'Golden Pearl' and to be honest I still prefer the flavour of 'Golden Pearl' as it's not quite as sweet as 'Sungold'. The rest of my tomatoes are red and normal size, they are yet to ripen. I'm undecided whether I will be growing any next year, my house is for sale and I'm moving back to mainland Britain.
