That plant is a forest cactus Logan, called Rhipsalis pilocarpa. It lives in the rain forests where it is shady, and wet/damp all the time. Ziggy doesn't grow those as he doesn't have the right environment for them.
Ziggy's plants usually live in the desert.

One might think shady and wet would be fairly easy to achieve in England, just add a bit of warmth.
