Ta, looking forward to moving on.

They're going to bulldoze the garden and build a garage. Why on earth you'd need a garage when there's off street parking for 2 cars already Lord knows?

I'm sorry to hear about the garden and I agree that it's ridiculous, but I'm sure the next garden you create will be amazing and I hope you'll post photos.

Those people are like the ones that bulldoze forests to build factories or just sell the wood. But I'm sure your new garden will be even a nicer one than the previous.

That's a bit weird! Most people I know never actually use their garage to park cars, so maybe they are going to use it more as a workshop or office

Congratulations!

Imagine buying a house with a mature garden already in place. I would value the garden almost as much as the house. You can't eat a house.

No, they definitely want to put the car in it. Before I suggested the garden, they were going to put it here.

So they'd not only be looking out the French Doors at the top of the car, they'd also cut out the natural light from here,

Well now it's their house and their choice, don't bother yourself with it. Move on :D

You're right, I won't really care once the money is in the bank, just thought it a bit of an odd thing to want to do.

How weird!! Is it their first house? Maybe they just aren't very practical thinkers... like you say though, not your problem soon ;)
