Catching up with Rio Ferdinand: Being mum and dad.. It's so sad and he's so normal that it's almost unreal.. He has all the trappings, but is so well grounded.. Tears welled up my eyes,, when he opened up about worrying about the impact of losing his wife on this first child..

Watched House that £100K built and wonder what is the fascination with glass .. Glass, glass everywhere.. How do you keep a house warm with glass everywhere? I must say I enjoyed the view from the house in Devon.. but it must be freezing in winter!

Love the programmes though.. Some very clever and dedicated people there..

Watching Decline and Fall .. A bit silly really.. Now I know that Evelyn Waugh is a man! LOL!

Also watching American Justice -- Yesterday I finished Shadow Dancer.. Didn't know that Tom Bradby was a writer.. Isn't it cool to write the move and feature yourself as a news reporter ..? ! LOL!

Been watching Decline and Fall and American Justice.. Decline and Fall is a bit of silly comedy.. American Justice made me fall asleep after lunch.. But I love watching it as it is so sad. I woke up and dragged the progress bar to where I fell asleep! LOL!

The teen is only 12 years old and he shoots some tramp execution style.. Sad that the mother and grandmother have not provided stability or instill in him a sense of right and wrong.. Some people are born into a trap... and the easy access to guns does not help..

I promised myself that I would watch Storyville - a murder in Italy again .. I did and that plunged me into deep slumber.. But I woke up with the gist out of the DNA labyrinth ..

Yara, 13 was murdered in November 2010. Sniffer dog took the police to a building site. Her body found in an open field later ..In the funeral, heartbreaking to see mum burying her face in her photo and sobbed. One DNA expert pinpointed that fact that killer had light-coloured eyes. Police were hunting for an unknown male with a Y chromosome.. Giuseppe Guerinoni (died in 1999) was quickly exposed to be father of unknown Male. The case dragged on and other DNA experts were drafted in. They found that Unknown A had a mutative gene Adelle which could only come from the MOTHER! So they hunt for the mother and Ester Arzuffi was found to be the mother and she was married to Giovanni Bossetti.. It transpired that she had twins with Giuseppe Guernoni when they lived in the same street. Her son Massimo Bossetti's DNA was captured on a fake alcohol road test. He was tested twice with the excuse that the first reading was no good. There was a match and Massimo Bossetti was arrested. He has light blue eyes..and was a builder.

From wiki

An instructor at the gym, Silvia Brena has been the focus of attention of Bossetti's defence. Her blood was found on the sleeves of Yara's jacket, identified by DNA. On the night of Yara's disappearance, Silvia Brena's father has said that she cried all night, although she has given no reason for this. Under questioning she said that she remembered nothing and could not explain why she and her brother had sent text messages to each other at the time of Yara's disappearance which they had almost immediately deleted without deleting other messages sent before and after.[10][11]

If you have time and stamina, try to watch this one please.. Guaranteed a good sleep during and after the documentary.. Gripping and dramatic stuff .. LOL!

Morning alp, I watched that a couple of weeks ago. It was a deeply moving programme, her parents were amazing and dignified , very moving when her mum spoke at the one and only press conference.
The determination of the police and the expertise of the forensic/ DNA department was truly wonderful. At first I thought that Massimo was going to jump from the scaffolding and kill himself when the police came to the building site to arrest him......so pleased that he didn't and got to face the court proceedings and then the prison sentence that he justifiable deserved.
A very sad but deeply riveting programme to watch.

Sooooooooooooo glad that you love it.. Imagine your mama had an affair with a neighbour .. Crikey .. The twists are just so riveting..and ironically I was in deep slumber .. Just love the twist and the DNA saga.. Wish I were young and I would do gene manipulation in plants or human .. Shame what have I done with my life??? Ah, I know .. uploading photos.. and migrations LOL!

You would have loved the Killing for love.. A young 18 year old incarcerated for life because he loved a druggie too much .. Every parent's nightmare.. As the ending song goes .. I put a spell in you and you're mine forever.. I despise that Elizabeth woman and even now she would not let him have a life..

Bbc1 11.45pm The national pet service
A look at the charitable work of People's Despencery for sick animals, treats pets for free.
Watched the national pet service, the PDSA. Very good, but it was filmed in the Scotland region. Very hard to understand so put sub titles on. Also watched Location, they were going back to see how they were getting on.
