Poor summer

For me it has been a good summer....my suntan and of others too down here testifies to a pretty sunny warm summer :)
Lately more rain but dry, warm and hot for the most part. Fruit did well, toms were plentiful and all have ripened....just a few left to pick.
Today has been warm and the afternoon sunny. Tomorrow supposed to be the same..(y)..the weekend is another story perhaps. :(

Today, I split my echinacea purpureas into about 10 plants. I never knew they were so easy to tear apart. A lot of my dahlias are still sulking, all thanks to this temperamental summer!

Echinacaea are another great herbaceous plant that are easy to grow and propagate ....lovely

I love echinaceas - I want to add more colours to mine red tanz, yellow tanz. white swan, pow wow and pallida .. The seeds germinate at no time.. no messing about.. Love them!
