I've Dreamed of You So Much
I've dreamed of you so much that you lose your reality.
Is there still time to reach that living body
and kiss birth on that mouth
of the voice that is dear to me?
I've dreamed of you so much that my arms used to hug your shadow
to cross on my chest
not bend around your body, maybe.
And that, in front of the real appearance of what haunts me
and rules me for days and years
I would undoubtedly become a shadow,
O sentimental scales.
I have dreamed of you so much that it is probably not time to wake up.
I sleep upright, my body offering to all, the appearances of life
and love, and you, the only one that matters to me today,
I could touch your forehead and your lips less than the first lips
and the first front come.
I've dreamed of you so much, walked, talked, slept with your ghost
that I may not have left, and yet,
to be a ghost among the ghosts and a hundred times more shade
that the shadow that always walks happily
on the sundial of your life.
