Pineapple?

I have a Pineapple Plant and understood that I wouldn't have Pineapple unless I have another plant.

Well I now have another coming up would this work if I repot it and it gets bigger?

They are self-fertile so you don't need 2. The second one is genetically identical so it couldn't cross-pollinate anyway.

Ok. The one is huge wonder why I don't have a Pineapple?

Does it grow in full sun during the summer? That's what they like. And warmth.
Alternatively, you can put it in a large clear plastic bag with a ripe apple for 2 weeks. The apple gives off ethylene gas which stimulates flowering and fruiting.
