@Verdun lovely flowers, my asters are still in tight bud. What was that last one?
@alp the blue salvia is so vivid. The cactus is so delicate.Like the colour of the rose.Tried growing salvias, the slugs and snails had a good feast.

For once, your roses are more beautiful than your dogs .. Love the last few.. Very pretty. I have only 3 roses and when I weed my border, I wish I had none. When I can enjoy the perfume, I wish I had tons..

@Logan What is the name of the yellow one please? I wish I had @johnny canoe 's yellow one -- can't remember the name. But that's a definite winner and I still have NO yellow roses in my garden!

guanajuato: I just love it. That blue is so striking. There is a blue one with BIG flowers and I hope I have collected some seeds.. I really want a deep violet one.. Nachtvindler or something like that. Must visit the man across the road to see if he could spare me some seeds..

Yes, I wish I had not woken up so early as I'm feeling the cold now. What is the last but 2nd one? It's really pretty. I have 4 proper roses. Paul's Scarlett from poundshop.. Amazing climber with tons of flowers, an apricot one, a purple one, and one red with a yellow back petal.

@alp the the last but 2 is scent-sation. Got most of the roses from, Cants of colechester and Fryers roses. It's best to order early, about now and get them bare root from November.

Morning all from a very rain swept NI....dull dark and damp would be the best way to describe this day..another weekend indoors and must get the bedroom started...I managed to pick up all the handles I needed for the furniture upscaling project from Screwfix £2.99 each down to £2.69 if you purchased 2 or more, so that was good...Whilst out we went to visit an old childhood neighbour of mine a couple of weeks after she lost her husband (shes 91 god bless her)...Just checking in with her to see how she's coping....she has all her family around her so it was good to see that she's doing well, she made us a nice pot of tea and biscuits as we chatted away about old times....So I'm really pleased she's soldiering on..made my day......well I hope your weather forecast is better than mine (not hard there ) and have a great day...Happy Gardening everyone
