Thanks alp.
Lol no flattery. Those tulips do look amazing!!!!! Personally I think nothing rivals the plain but colorful, single cup or egg shaped tulips in beauty, like the red one and the yellow one you have. It's almost makes me sick that I can't grow them!! I will have them some day!!!!
The amaryllis is beautiful as well :)....... But mine was single so I think we have different....

Vishu: I thought you had 2 amaryllises.. One you used for ID? That one looks like mine, don't you think, or I must have confused it with someone else's. Yes, the single ones are classic beauty.. The doubles are often top heavy and a bit too busy ... You can always trying emigrating.. If I could try again, I think I would go to Australia .. What do you think? What flowers have you got in the pipeline, V?

No, you are correct, indeed it does look like yours but it's single, not double.
Take a look.
If I got a chance to migrate, I would probably go to Bhutan(I can even go like right now, it's not like I need a visa). Or maybe Spain! Spanish culture, language and cusine always intrigued me.
Why australia? Any special reason? I would never shift to southern hemisphere. Summer in December is just too wierd(no offense intended to any Aussies or others from southern hemisphere).

Oh, Haha! The lady and the man in The Lunchbox talk about Bhutan.. Is it part of India? Or is it north of India .. What's the weather like? And they say everything is cheaper there. Is that true? I feel sick when the new accountant says he made up a new first class train pass.. He's a chancer and a con man! Don't you think?
Australia because similar language and the place is big...

Yours could be Minerva - like the first one that I had..

They do?? Haha.....watched that movie long ago so don't remember.
Bhutan is an independent country, a constitutional monarchy, North of Assam in North Eastern India. It has very very close relations with india. There is no visa restrictions between the two countries.
People of Bhutan (along with nepalese citizens and Tibetan refugees) can serve in Indian army.
Bhutan is very very cheap. The weather there is awesome and lots of places of natural beauty. They don't measure their GNP but rather Gross National Happiness.
I didn't understand the 'flowers in pipeline....' Thing. Could you rephrase?:)

LOL! Sounds like a dream place ..

Oh, I just wondering what you're growing at the moment .. We have been sowing seeds. Today, I was outside, but tomorrow, I must sow some more seeds or I'll miss the season..

It is!!!

Nothing........ Few plants grow in 40°+ heat. I could grow some marigolds and yellow cosmos and zinnias but a bit busy this year. The main objective right now is to keep alive what I have.....
Btw, what are you gonna plant?

Keep alive what you have .. Yes, quite true.. In that terrible heat .. Gloriosa might do very well. Don't water too much though. That's how I killed mine. I have two tiny tubers going .. How about bougainvillea? Will they survive your way?

I have petunias, pirouette and some doubles, some fuchsias from last year, lots of clematises, some hydrangeas, some Japanese anemones..

Bougainville do very well......... They are soooo common that I don't like them.
Wow! Fuchsias, hydrangeas, clematis and anemones sounds heavenly.
All we will have are some cannas and day lilies and maybe a few rain lilies.
There is a native clematis variety with tiny fragrant white flowers. Will try and get that.

@Upsy Daisy: LOL! Well, no harm done! Haha! I hope to see Runny before I head for bed.. Too elusive ..

Have you had a good day, Daisy? I'm so tired and I think I will go to bed soon.

Vishu: talking about lilies: I was looking for my hair dye and plunged my hands into something moist. Lo and behold, I have tons of bulblets of Asiatic lilies.. I will upload a pic for you to enjoy tomorrow.. It's so easy to propagate them.
