@tbendl That made me giggle. Nobody throwing up mud or compost or dancing (must say, he has some good steps). @Logan Don't worry about the plants. Make sure you can walk properly first. Ask your OH to do it. As @Verdun said, take your time to let it heal.

What a scorcher. We went to two parks, which is a record for me. To be able to sit in the shade to take in some fresh air and enjoy the wind are so nice.

Evening all, wow what a hot day !!!

@Logan you had the cast removed just in time , bet you feel a lot cooler now:)
I understand how much you want to get your garden ready for summer, but it's more important that you are ready to enjoy it more, so don't go on a mad planting spree and overdo things......OK?:cautious:

@alp it must have been lovely in the parks today....bet it did you a world of good:)

@tbendl , thanks for your nice comments:) How is your day going....is it sunny and warm over your way too ?:)

Had a lovely lazy day today , my sister came over with her adorable new grandson and they spent the day with us . My niece had to go into work for the day , and bless her she got quite tearful at having to leave him for the first time.....but we kept sending her pics during the day. Took him for a slow amble up our lane in his pram. He's now 6wks old and has started to give lovely smiles to everyone:),

Have a lovely 'rest of the day' wherever you are in the world(y)

Hi Upsy, it has briefly cleared and I'm hoping to hit a nursery on the way home for Canna's and maybe some Crinium and daylilies. :) We have had rain for days!
I'm supposed to be going home to vacuum but....
I figure moving dirt around outside is better than moving it around inside. Woopwoop!
How lucky you are to spend time with your sisters grandson. They grow up entirely too fast!

@Upsy Daisy It's certainly a lot cooler outside than as @tbendl said, breathing in exhaust fumes in the house. I wish I had my own grandkids..

Love the flowers and the wildlife @alp . Were you able to get so close to them or have you got a brilliant zoom lense on your camera ?

@tbendl , have to admit that housework comes in 2nd place to gardening too :D:ROFLMAO:. Yes children certainly do grow up fast, holding babe to day brought back memories of my own brood when they were tiny.......where oh where do the years go:(

Sleep well everyone......well most of you ......no sleeping on the job @tbendl!!..... you've got a few more hours to go yet , I think;)

Good morning, everyone. It's quite windy outside, but is reasonably pleasant in the house even though quite a few windows open. Hope it's going to rain today. Quite a few of my plants are wilting.
