Nice to see so many lovely flowers from Russia, @Larisa

Good morning to everyone who drops by. Need to plant out my 50p bargains before they die on me. Seeds some spinach and lettuce yesterday and weeded for an hour. All my hibiscus seeds have germinated. Nice to see little leaves out of seeds. Today, I'm going to remove all the dead flowers from my irises. Such a short flowering period. I removed all the seed heads from my oriental poppies and hope for another flush.

Have a terrific Tuesday!

Morning @Logan , @alp and all others who may drop by.How is everyone today?

Bit of a grey and murky start to the day, hopefully things will improve:).

You made me think there @alp.... I've got some spinach seeds , might sow them too(y).

It's such a shame that some of the most beautiful plants have such short lived blooms :(.

Nearly there @Logan .....ready for take off!!:D

@Larisa, beautiful blooms, the parks looking stunning! :).

Have a thrillingly good Tuesday :)

@Upsy Daisy morning. Had a bad night with Barley, got a tummy bug. OH had to keep taking him out about 4 times in the night. This morning he's been sick twice.OH wasn't very pleased because all the extra work he's been doing. If i didn't have my bad leg,it would be a bit better. Yes thanks nearly there. Can't wait. Have a good day.:D

Morning, @Upsy Daisy It's much more civilised today, not the stifling heat of yesterday. I have harvested my coriander and I must say it is a marmite situation. I have also harvested some rocket, some land cress seed heads which are perfect for dinner. I have a lettuce which has grown last last winter. Amazing.

Wow! @alp, you're doing well. Makes it extra tasty when you've grown it yourself.

Never attempted lettuce......... don't slugs attack it?

So sad.......no smilies for some strange reason today!

Remember my back garden. Well, it's not completely finished, but the bin is gone and all the stinging nettles are gone.

SAM_0280.JPG

The previous owner had part of the back garden with concrete and for some reason, some with soil and some silly raised walls.

In its place I have 2 homemade raised beds, made from discarded book shelf. One with Wong Bak or Chinese leaf and the blasted cat took a fancy to the bed and sunbathed in the top left hand corner.

and the other one with salad seeds and some piccolo tomatoes from a finest range.

By the look of it, they last about 3 days.
