For that matter anything. You have several plants in the Onion Family.

Onions are good for you but what do you use all them for?

And it really don't make sense to dry when you have so many fresh.

I think anything but fruit cake my missus starts by chopping up an onion.
I read leeks and onions discourage slugs and it is worth planting them round the edge of the beds, though when I tried I found them in the way and a nuisance, then I found one fallen over and a huge slug starting in on the one next to it.
Winter onions don't keep as well as summer ones.

Well right now Garlic, Green Onions , Garlic Chives, Big Bulb Onions and Leaks.

Got these six small pots outside on a stand, I have a vague memory of thinking "Oh I'll remember that" because I couldn't find a label. They have come up, I think they are leeks, I'll try splitting a pot up soon. There are quite a few in there, I think I might have been unsure of the germination rate of old seed and been a bit generous, no problem.

Was looking at meat rubs found one no Sugar. Then my says but look at preservatives.

She said only way i can have a good rub is make it myself.

They are seedlings, will get transplanted. I am trying leeks in containers though, three to a fourteen litre bucket, I also have leeks growing round a couple of my beds that are coming on well. Don't want to be short of a leek, we are veggie and they are great for a bit of extra flavour in all sorts of things. You can plant out a bunch and start eating them young, they are just as good and you don't get an over laod all at once.
