Please help me save my candy onions. They have brown tips. I have read it’s called blight. Can they be saved?? Thank you

Brown tips aren't all that unusual on maturing onions...and something I don't worry about. My spring onion crop is about two weeks from maturity and several onions have brown tips...this happens generally just prior to the tops falling over at maturity.
If it is blight, I'm not aware there is anything you can do about it...prevention is key...never grow onions in the same spot. Rotation is especially important in onions.
