Old carpet as greenhouse floor?

Carpet gets really dirty though, and it's very hard to clean. It depends on if you think you will be walking in there with really dirty shoes or not. If it gets too wet it might get all moldy, so that would be really gross. You can't really get mold out of carpet without bleach, which destroys the color of the carpet.

I would have bought a wool rug as it is eco-friendly, allergen free and non-toxic.

Not if you're allergic to sheep its not :D

Don't use foam backed carpet as it breaks down and makes hell of a mess :)
