I guess that makes sense, saves you from using pesticides and keeps the nature food cycle going. Insects are important to plant life so I guess its about a balance.

Hahaha. If you don't have that mint in containers, before you know it you will have more than enough mint for you, your relatives, your neighbors and the mint-munching critters.

I don't worry about the plants being eaten, i like to keep my garden organic so don't spray at all because of the insects. Even if the sprays are organic it will kill other insects as well. It's just a few leaves on the mint and it won't harm it.

I am amazed at the amount of people who are so ready to spray junk their gardens. Go organic and stay organic. Yes it annoys me when people want a quick fix with weed killer when they can just dig them out, they don't want a bit of hard work.

Yeah and glyphosate, aka Roundup, is one of the most toxic substances known to man.
